Restoring Tooth Visibility, Bite Balance & Facial Harmony
The patient was unhappy with the appearance of his smile. He noticed wear on the edges of his front teeth and felt that his smile looked slightly asymmetric. He also had several old composite fillings that affected the overall esthetics.
Initial Evaluation
First, a full clinical examination was performed. Professional scaling (dental cleaning) was done to remove plaque and calculus. The gingival health was evaluated to make sure the gums were healthy before starting the esthetic treatment.
Treatment Plan
After achieving healthy gum conditions, the old fillings were removed and replaced. To improve the smile while preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible, minimally invasive tooth preparations were performed on the front teeth.
A smile design was created according to the patient’s expectations and facial harmony. Finally, laminate veneers were fabricated and bonded to the teeth, providing a more balanced, natural, and esthetic smile.
