Restoring Tooth Visibility, Bite Balance & Facial Harmony
Patient Complaint
The patient complained about the appearance and function of his existing crowns. The crowns were bulky and poorly shaped. Food was frequently getting trapped between the teeth, which caused discomfort and bad breath. The patient was also unhappy with the overall look of his smile.
Initial Treatment
First, a detailed clinical examination was performed. The patient received subgingival curettage and professional cleaning to restore gingival health. The old crowns were removed because they were causing irritation and contributing to plaque accumulation and gum inflammation.
Treatment Plan
After removing the old crowns, temporary restorations were placed to protect the teeth and maintain esthetics during the treatment process.
Once the gum tissues became healthy and stable, a new smile design was planned according to the patient’s expectations. Finally, laminate veneers were fabricated and bonded, focusing on both functional health and natural esthetics, resulting in a balanced and healthier smile.
